The aim of the webinar is to understand how lived experience peer worker roles promote family mental health in early development, and how to enable and collaborate with peer support roles in practice.
Following the webinar, participants will be better equipped to:
- Describe how peer workers support parental confidence, and promote caregiving that nurtures infants' emerging autonomy, emotional security, and developmental wellbeing.
- Outline how lived experience peer roles support parents in early parenting and the developmental changes experienced in the first three years.
- Identify organisational actions that support lived experience peer work roles, including role clarity, supervision structures, wellbeing supports, and co-production practices.
