Cecily is a Fellow and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse. She has many years experience with general, psychiatric and drug and alcohol nursing services. Positions held within these services have included both senior management and clinical roles. These positions have been supported by post graduate studies in business. Cecily’s focus is supporting non mental health clinicians and practices within her current senior clinical role and conducting clinical research with general nurse colleagues. Kathryn Gregory (Secretary)
Kathryn is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with many years experience in various clinical roles, management, education and clinical supervision. She has continued to engage in professional development throughout her career which is supported by her Masters in Mental Health and additional qualifications in education and management. Kathryn has worked as consultant in various settings with a more recent focus on clinical supervision whilst continuing her work in a senior clinical role. She is the Tasmanian Ambassador for Mental Health Nursing, which is a pilot project that has been launched by ACMHN in 2009.
Branch Meetings
Branch meetings have continued in various forms over the years.
Throughout our history, there have been times when it has been very difficult to attract Tasmanian mental health nurses to join the College and even more challenging to entice members become involved at a business level.
These issues have been discussed at the ACMHN Council of Branches - a regular meeting between the Chairs of all the State and Territory Branches. As a result of our discussions, we intend to engage a new strategy which we will trial for the next 2 years - we will hold 3 monthly, dinner meetings which will include business and/or education workshops.
