Experienced in setting up the MHNIP in a GP practice, and managing relevant paperwork. Proven effectiveness in MHNIP role. Competent at Mental Health Assessments, GP MH Care Plans and Reviews, case management including follow up/ liaison with NGOs and allied health providers. Effectively monitors adherence with medication, provides advice regarding side effects and assesses mental health status on an ongoing basis. Provides counselling and psychotherapy where appropriate.
