ELIGIBILITY FOR THE 'BEST PRESENTATION IN A GENERAL CATEGORY AWARD' – 1 Winner

The General Award is presented for the best paper presented reporting on management/administration/policy issues, project work, Masters, PhD or other research that does not meet the criteria for the Research Award and the Stan Alchin Award.

Abstracts being considered for the General Award include:

  • Abstract
  • Title
  • Author(s) Surname, Initial. Organisational Affiliation.
  • Introduction and background
  • Aims/objectives
  • Description of the work
  • Outcomes/significance/implications for policy and practice change
  • Implications for mental health nursing
  • Identify 2-3 learning objectives significant to paper/poster/workshop

 

Presentations eligible for the General Award are assessed against the following criteria:

  1. Introduction and background including aims and objectives
  2. Description and scope of the work
  3. Outcomes and significance to mental health nursing and/or consumers and family/community
  4. Contributions to new knowledge/ Implications for clinical and/or policy are clear and explicit
  5. Presentation, audience engagement and discussion
