Janssen-Cilag in collaboration with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) is pleased to announce the successful applicants of our joint Scholarship Program, which provides full registration fees and up to $500 towards travel and/or accommodation costs.

Selection criteria

Please include with your application:
1.    A 250 word statement outlining why you want to attend and your goals in attending  the conference
2.    The names and contact details of two referees from whom confidential references can be obtained (preferably one who is a College member)
3.    Confirmation of your ability to attend the conference should your application be successful (e.g. leave approval from your employer)

Essential Criteria
Applications are invited from mental health nurses who are:
1.    A financial member of ACMHN
2.    Prepared to present a written report or presentation to their local Branch or sub Branch by 1 November 2010, or to the College ‘news’ magazine by 29 October 2010.
3.    Not in receipt of financial support for the same purpose from elsewhere

Desirable
1.    Active in the local ACMHN Branch or sub Branch. Please provide brief details
2.    Active within the MHN profession.  Please provide brief details.
3.    Not been a recipient of this scholarship during the past three years

Conference Full Registrations will be arranged by the ACMHN.

Full Registration includes;

  • Conference Sessions
  • Welcome Reception & Oration
  • Members Breakfast & AGM
  • Morning Teas
  • Lunches
  • Afternoon Teas
  • Program Book
  • Satchel

Please note Full Registration does not include Pre-Conference Sessions.

Recipients will be reimbursed up to $500 towards travel and/or accommodation upon presentation of associated tax receipts.

Please forward the completed application form and statement of your goals by Friday 16 July 2010.
