ACMHN Ambassador ProgramThe Ambassador Program comprises a small national team of Mental Health Nurses. Its purpose is to engage directly with the professional and general community to promote mental health nursing, and subsequently promote credentialing. Dr Jenny Fothergill was proudly nominated by the ACT Branch to be to be the first ACT Ambassador. The ACMHN National Office coordinates activities for the ACMHN Ambassadors, including speaking at secondary schools, speaking to nursing students, manning stands at careers expo’s etc.
ACT Branch Strategic PlanThe ACT Branch Strategic Plan was developed in mid-2009. In addition to augmenting the National Plan, it also highlights issues that are specific to the ACT. The ACT Branch Strategic Plan will be further developed by the Branch in 2010.
