Bernie Stefan-Rasmus is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, a Fellow of the College and a member since 1998. He was appointed to the Board in 2008 and is an active member of the South Australian Branch. Bernie is currently employed in a practice development position in South Australia, and is actively involved in the implementation and development of clinical supervision for mental health nurses across the public sector in South Australia.

Bernie believes that the mental health nursing profession needs a strong voice to ensure that it is part of the national debate on mental health, and that the College needs to demonstrate a strong commitment to attracting new nurses to the profession.

Bernie previously held positions as South Australian Councillor and he is the past chair of the Finance and Audit committee.
